The Livguard LG1550iXL 1250 VA inverter offers reliable backup using Square Wave technology. They are best for spaces that need a bit more backup power than 1100VA (homes, small offices, and shops). Key features include:

You first have to sum up your total load (in watts). This will include everything you want to work on during outages. Use our Livguard Load Calculator to sum up the wattage of fans, lights, TV, pump, etc. An inverter 1250 VA can support more appliances than a 1100VA model. Then pick an inverter/UPS 1250 VA if your load is around 800-1000W. This allows a safety margin.

A 1250 VA square wave inverter can run:

• Multiple ceiling/pedestal fans (4–5)
• Several LED/fluorescent lights (5–8)
• Television or Wi‑Fi router
• Basic desktop computer or small printer

Criteria for limitation: It doesn't work well with heavy loads or high-inrush demands. This includes big refrigerators, air conditioners, pumps, and so on.

Backup time depends on the battery capacity used with the 1250 VA inverter. For example:

• With a 150Ah battery, this inverter may run 4-5 fans + 6-8 lights + a TV for ~3-4 hours, depending on total wattage.
• Increasing battery Ah (e.g. 200-260Ah) will extend runtime proportionally.

Things like manufacturing defects, repair/replacement of faulty components of the inverter unit itself are covered within the warranty period. It does not cover:

• Physical damage due to misuse
• Battery faults (unless specified separately)
• Damage from improper installation

• Do not place in damp, hot, or confined areas
• Inspect battery terminals and wiring for corrosion
• Ensure cables are tight and clean
• Use batteries that match the specification (capacity within 100-260Ah range, as per Livguard 1250 VA inverter recommendation).
• Follow the regular servicing by authorised technicians and follow Livguard’s user manual to maintain the warranty.

In case of errors and improper working of your inverter, reset the inverter. Do not let the total load exceed 110-120% of its rating. Keep a check on battery connections, loose wires, or corrosion. Your battery should be charged and in good condition.
